Bob Eckstein is an accomplished writer, illustrator, and cartoonist with extensive experience in the publishing and journalism industries. Currently, Bob serves as a Writer and Illustrator at Chronicle Books and as a Writer for Countryman Press, along with ongoing roles as a Contributing Editor for Writer's Digest and a Book Author for Globe Pequot Press and Penguin Random House. Notable works include "Footnotes from the World's Greatest Bookstores," a New York Times bestseller, and the upcoming book "The Illustrated History of the Snowman." Bob's long-standing association with The New York Times since 1983 has involved producing numerous stories and illustrations, including live sketches of major sporting events. Additionally, Bob's contributions as a Cartoonist for The New Yorker, freelance design projects, and teaching roles at New York University highlight a diverse career dedicated to creativity and storytelling. Academically, Bob holds a Bachelor's Degree in Illustration from Pratt Institute.
