Jan Haux is a Professor of Communication Design at UE University of Europe for Applied Sciences since September 2016, with a rich background in art direction, graphic design, and book design. Haux operates a freelance practice that has focused on corporate identities and design projects for cultural clients, including Hochschule für Gestaltung, Karlsruhe and Amnesty International. Haux has served as a Senior Designer at Princeton Architectural Press since November 2001, and has held positions as a Visiting Lecturer at HTW Berlin and a Guest Lecturer at Pratt Institute. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications from Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe, along with prior studies at the University of Stuttgart.
