Prior to this role, George Maris was with Janus Henderson Investors U.S. from March 2011 to August 2023, where responsibilities included leading the Americas Equity division and serving as lead portfolio manager for multiple equity strategies. George Maris has also held senior portfolio management positions at Northern Trust Global Investments, Columbia Management Group, and Putnam Investments, starting as a portfolio manager in 1999. Educational credentials include an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a JD from the University of Illinois College of Law, and a BA in Economics from Swarthmore College.
