Allison Torrence

Allison Torrence, ASA, currently serves as an Actuarial Associate at Principal Financial Group since June 2021, after progressing from an Actuarial Assistant. Prior experience includes an Actuarial Internship at Principal Financial Group in the summer of 2020. Allison's diverse background also encompasses tutoring at Columbus Metropolitan Library, where instruction was provided in various subjects, and volunteer work at Broad Street Food Pantry, where organizational and customer assistance skills were developed. Additionally, Allison has experience as a Server at Laurel Lake Retirement Community, training new staff and maintaining financial accuracy. A former Financial Coordinator for the Mount Leadership Society, Allison effectively managed budgets and secured funding for large-scale events. Allison holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Actuarial Science from The Ohio State University, earned in 2021.
