Kathy Brown

Kathy Brown, CISSP, currently serves as the Business Information Security Officer at Principal Financial Group since December 2019 and has been involved with KB Advisory Group, LLC. as an Information Security Governance Risk & Compliance Consultant since April 2015. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Security Consultant at Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, an Information Security Consultant at Principal Financial Group, and as a lead in Product Risk Management at ADT. Kathy has also held significant positions at Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and Maytag, demonstrating extensive expertise in information security, risk management, and compliance throughout a career spanning several decades. Kathy holds a degree from William Penn University College for Working Adults, completed between 1999 and 2003.
