OFFSHORE Compliance Manager at Principle Power

Alda Martins has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. alda started their career in 1993 as a Quality Assurance Manager at a Customs Warehouse, where they ensured the quality of operations until 2009. During their time at the Warehouse, they also took on additional responsibilities as the Environment, Human Resources, and Suppliers Manager, implementing programs and procedures for a cleaner workshop environment and establishing a recycling center.

In 2008, Alda joined a Shipping Company as an Offshore Heavy Lift Projects Manager, a role they held until 2011. alda then transitioned to become a Business Development/Commercial Manager at another Shipping Company from 2009 to 2011.

From 2011 onwards, Alda joined Principle Power, starting as the Manager of Portugal Operations and simultaneously working as the Portugal Country Manager. alda later took on roles such as HS&E Offshore Manager and finally served as the Offshore Compliance Manager. Their tenure at Principle Power is ongoing and spans from December 2011 to the present.

Alda Martins pursued their education at the University of Lisbon. alda obtained a Management Degree from 1991 to 1994 and an MBA in Finance and Marketing in 1995. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Management in September 1991 and an HS&E Level 5 certification from ACT, Autoridade para as condições de trabalho, in January 2010.
