Principle Power
Ao Zhang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. They started their career as a Journalist and Editor at China Radio International (CRI) in 2007 before transitioning to the role of Assistant Journalist at Al Jazeera Media Network in 2011. In the same year, they founded and managed the daily news show "Global Views" as a Producer and Anchor at China National Radio, where they also created the weekly program "Ao's Desk." After leaving China National Radio in 2018, Ao Zhang joined the Women in Tech Initiative at UC as a Research Analyst. They currently work as a Business Developer at Principle Power.
From 2018 to 2019, Ao Zhang attended the University of California, Berkeley, Goldman School of Public Policy. During this time, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a focus on public policy.
