Inês Maltez Fernandes has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Inês is currently working at Principle Power as a Senior Legal Counsel since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SMFC - Sousa Machado, Ferreira da Costa & Associados as a Corporate and M&A Lawyer from September 2021 to November 2022.
From November 2018 to September 2021, Inês worked at SRS Advogados, first as a Senior Associate and later as a Lawyer from July 2017 to November 2018. Before that, they had a secondment at NOVO BANCO's Legal Department from May 2016 to June 2017.
Inês also gained valuable experience as an Associate at FCB - F. Castelo Branco & Associados from December 2015 to June 2017. Inês worked for the Portuguese Government as an Advisor to the Energy State Secretary from January 2015 to November 2015. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate at F. Castelo Branco & Associados from November 2013 to December 2014.
Inês began their legal career as an Attorney at Miranda Correia Amendoeira & Associados from November 2007 to November 2013.
Inês Maltez Fernandes has a Law Degree from the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa, which they completed from 2002 to 2007. In 2009, they pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Energy Law from the Faculdade de Direito Universidade de Lisboa. In 2010, they furthered their studies in intellectual property law by completing a Postgraduate Course in Industrial Law and a Postgraduate Course in Intellectual Property Law, both from the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa. In 2013, they obtained a Certification Course in Conflict Mediation from the Universidade Católica do Porto, with a focus on Conflict Mediation.
