John Mark Collins has extensive work experience in various roles within the energy industry. John Mark began their career at Seabulk Towing Inc as a deckhand and worked their way up to become a USCG Certified Officer and Captain, responsible for managing a multimillion-dollar asset and a team of crewmembers. John Mark then joined Seacor Holdings Inc, where they served as a Director of Operations, Country Manager, and Chartering Manager, overseeing fleet management, asset allocation, and developing business relationships. After that, they joined Solar Turbines as a District Service Manager, responsible for managing industrial gas turbine operations globally. John Mark later joined Enerlight Engineering as the Managing Director, responsible for profit and loss goals and expanding the customer base. Following this, they worked at APR Energy as a Power Plant Manager and Country Operations Manager, overseeing power plant operations and maintenance. Currently, they are working at PRISMECS as the VP of Global Commercial Operations, responsible for leading the operations department and overseeing global operations, including power plants and O&M. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in operations, fleet management, and business development.
John Mark Collins has a diverse education history. John Mark attended the US Coast Guard Academy, where they obtained their degree as a USCG All Ocean Captain 1600T and 3000GRT. John Mark also received additional certifications from the US Coast Guard Academy, including Marter 1600T All Ocean - 3000GRT STCW and AB Unlimited.
In addition to their time at the academy, Collins pursued further education at Star Center in Dania FL, where they earned a degree in Marine Radar Unlimited. John Mark also received a certification as an ISPS Safety Officer from Bureau Veritas.
Collins furthered their education at Delgado Community College, studying USCG Advanced Firefighting. John Mark also attended Sea School in St Petersburg FL, where they obtained a degree in AB Unlimited. Additionally, they completed the STCW program at Star Center in Dania FL.
Lastly, Collins attended Universidade Federal do Pará, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Marketing.
