Michael Santolini is an experienced professional in bioprocess development and fermentation technology, currently serving as the Tech Transfer and Development Lead at Pro Farm Group since August 2018. Previously, Michael held various roles including Research Scientist II at Bolt Threads, Sr. Process Development Associate at Marrone Bio Innovations, and Associate Research Scientist, where significant contributions included optimizing fermentation processes and managing pilot plant operations. Earlier in Michael's career, experience at Amyris Inc. and Genentech involved scaling processes from lab to production levels and overseeing bioprocess operations and compliance. Michael holds a BS in Biological Sciences from California State University-Sacramento and additional studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
