John Zhao has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. John started their career at the Ohio State University Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering as a Graduate Research Associate from September 2015 to May 2016. Following that, they joined Medforall as a Principal Hardware Engineer from January 2016 to January 2017. Most recently, they worked at Pro-Vision Video Systems, starting as a Product Engineer from February 2017 to March 2019, and then progressing to the role of Product Engineering Supervisor from March 2019 onwards. In this role, they oversaw multiple digital camera and recording system projects, collaborated with internal teams, developed UI and web service for DVR configuration, and cross-compiled programs for embedded Linux systems.
John Zhao completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Pittsburg State University, from 2010 to 2014. Afterward, they pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The Ohio State University, from 2014 to 2016.
