Michiel Stork has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michiel is currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development at ProBioGen AG from March 2023. Previously, they worked at Intravacc, where they held several roles including VP of Business Development from July 2020 to March 2023, Head of Process Development for Bacterial Vaccines from February 2017 to July 2020, and Senior Scientist for Bacterial Vaccines from January 2013 to February 2017. Before that, they worked as a Scientist for Process Development at RIVM from September 2011 to January 2013. Michiel also worked as a Postdoc at Universiteit Utrecht from January 2007 to September 2011 and as a PhD student/Postdoc at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 2005 to 2006. Additionally, they were a Research Technician at OHSU from 1999 to 2005.
Michiel Stork obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) between the years 1996 and 1999. Michiel later pursued a PhD in Microbiology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2005 to 2006.
