Amy W.

Amy W. is a Mechanical Engineer and Reliability Engineer at PROCEPT BioRobotics since August 2020. Amy has prior experience as a Teaching Assistant at Cal Poly Student Academic Services from September 2016 to June 2019, assisting students in mechanical drawing and CAD courses. As a Test Engineering Intern at Verb Surgical Inc. in the summer of 2018, Amy designed and conducted thermal tests while developing heat mitigation strategies and updating structural test procedures. Additionally, during an internship at Varian Medical Systems from June to September 2017, Amy designed production fixtures and collaborated with machinists on manufacturability. Amy earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2019 and completed high school at Lynbrook High School from 2011 to 2015.
