James Petersen

James Petersen is an experienced Technical Director and Stage Manager at Proctors Theatre since August 1988, a premier arts and entertainment center in Schenectady, NY. In addition, James has served as a Stage Technician for IATSE Local 14 since October 1999, supporting organized stage labor across major venues in the region. Since June 1988, James also holds the position of Technical Director and Lead Audio Technician for the Freedom Park Foundation, which hosts summer entertainment events. James volunteered as a Conference A/V Coordinator for The Thunderbolts Project from 2012 to 2015, contributing to discussions in physical and theoretical sciences. Educationally, James completed a high school degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies and holds a certification in Audiovisual Communications Technologies from Full Sail University.
