Juan Carlos Espinosa is the Portfolio Lead for Responsible Sourcing and Production at Proforest. Before that, Juan Carlos was the Environment Lead at Fedepalma - Colombian Federation of Oil Palm Growers. Juan Carlos also worked at WWF Colombia, Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, World Resources Institute, and the National Planning Department DNP. Juan holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Management from Yale School of the Environment, a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, and completed high school at Colegio San Carlos.
