Sara Strid has a diverse and extensive work experience, primarily in the marketing and customer growth sectors. Sara is currently employed at Profoto as the Vice President of Customer Growth since October 2020. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Profoto such as Customer Experience Manager, Head of Community and PR, and Head of E-commerce and Academy. Sara also served as the Marketing Manager for Profoto US for six years from September 2013 to August 2019. Before joining Profoto, Sara worked at Solvalla as a Marketing Coordinator from 2008 to 2011 and as a Marketing Manager and Marketing Assistant from 2005 to 2007. Sara started their career at Kodak Nordic AB, where they worked as the Nordic Consumer Product Coordinator from 2003 to 2005 and as a Nordic Marketing Coordinator from 2000 to 2003.

- In 2018, they attended Rutgers Business School and completed a mini-MBA in Digital Marketing.
- From 2004 to 2005, they studied at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing and obtained a Professional Certificate in Marketing, focusing on Marketing/Marketing Management.
- In 2000 to 2001, they attended Berghs School of Communication, where they specialized in Marketing Communication.
- From 1994 to 1998, they pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Photography at Parsons School of Design - The New School.
- In 2009, they enrolled in Poppius Journalistskola to further their knowledge in Journalism.
- Sara also attended Ledarna, Stockholm in 2006 for a course in Leadership and Development.
- In the same year, Sara completed a program called "The Winning Approach to Business Success" at Sipsi Executive Programs.
- Lastly, they began studying for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing/Marketing Management at the University of Gävle in 2004.
