Michael Klabunde

Michael Klabunde is a seasoned executive in the rail industry with extensive experience in business development, engineering, and marketing. Currently serving as Director of Business Development for Dealer Network at Progress Rail, Klabunde leads global initiatives across various rail and non-rail applications while fostering partnerships on six continents. Previous roles include Director of Power Systems Product Management, where Klabunde focused on emissions reduction and aftermarket strategies, and leadership positions at Wi-Tronix, including Vice President for the Passenger & Transit Business. Klabunde's career began at Electro-Motive Diesel, where a diverse background in sales, marketing, and engineering was developed over 16 years. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and multiple MBAs from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
