Sam King

Sam King is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the cybersecurity sector, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the M&A Committee at Progress since February 2018. Sam has held significant roles in various organizations, including serving as an Advisor and Chief Executive Officer at Veracode, where notable achievements included driving market-leading performance and executing a comprehensive business transformation. In addition to positions on boards such as the Mass General Physicians Organization and the Mass Technology Leadership Council, Sam is actively involved with the Mass STEM Advisory Council and The Aspen Institute, contributing to important discussions and initiatives in technology and cybersecurity. Educational credentials include an MS in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde.
