Project Access
Dr. Alex Obskov serves as an ESOL Adult Education Instructor at Austin Community College since June 2023, teaching English as a Second Language, digital literacy, financial literacy, and GED preparation. Additionally, Dr. Obskov works as an American Accent Coach for Microsoft Azure DevOps and holds editorial positions with the American Linguist Association's LingCuRe, as Editor in Chief, and as an Editorial Board Editor for the Social Sciences University of Ankara's Educational Administration: Theory and Practice. Other roles include being an Editorial Board Member for the Turkish Online Journal of Qualitative Inquiry and the SLOAP International Journals of Humanities, Literature and Arts, and Linguistics, Literature, and Culture. Dr. Obskov's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Tomsk State Pedagogical University and both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in TESOL from the same institution.

Project Access – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1999 – is the leading provider of vital on-site health, education & employment services to families, children, and seniors living in affordable and workforce housing communities. We believe our on-site presence cultivates strong communities, positive changes, and hopeful futures. Project Access operates Resource Centers at over 80 properties across the nation. In 2020, Project Access’ programs successfully served over 22,500 people.
