Michael Bronstein is a distinguished academic and industry leader in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the DeepMind Professor of AI at the University of Oxford since January 2022. Additionally, Michael holds the position of Chief Scientist in residence at VantAI, focusing on machine learning for molecular glue design. As a co-founder and Scientific Advisor at multiple organizations, including Dreamfold and Videocites, Michael contributes extensively to innovative projects spanning various domains. Other notable roles include Scientific Advisor positions at Recursion, AKA FOODS, Lumirithmic, and Relation Therapeutics, as well as serving as the ML Lead for Project CETI, which explores non-human species communication. Michael has also been a Professor at USI Università della Svizzera italiana since 2010, with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
