Brendan Murphy has extensive experience in education and engineering. Brendan started their career as a Civil Engineer at Jacobs, where they managed various civil engineering projects. Brendan then transitioned to education, working as a High School Engineering Teacher at MOT Charter High School, where they developed innovative STEM curriculum. Brendan later joined Northern Virginia Community College as a STEM Education Coordinator, overseeing programs for K-12 and post-secondary students. Currently, Brendan is the Director of Instruction - Engineering at Project Lead The Way, leading a team to develop curriculum and training for students and instructors.
Brendan Murphy earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2011. Brendan also obtained certifications in Foundations in Design Thinking, From Ideas to Action, and Insights for Innovation from IDEO U in 2022.
