As Chief Impact Officer, Katie Minihan leads the Impact Team focused on equity, access, and supporting PLTW’s mission through research, government relations, policy, advancement, and strategic partnerships. Prior to that role, Katie served as the Senior Vice President of Research where she was responsible for setting and pursuing PLTW’s research agenda, as well as engaging in internal and external research pursuits to measure the impact of PLTW programming.
Katie has been working in education for almost 20 years. Prior to joining PLTW, Katie worked in public schools as an elementary school teacher, building administrator, and district administrator including serving as a deputy superintendent at Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation located in southern Indiana.
Katie earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Vanderbilt University, her master’s degree in Education Policy and Management at Harvard University, and her doctorate in K-12 Educational Leadership from Vanderbilt University.
