Claire Gurney

Claire Gurney is a senior financial professional with extensive experience in financial management and accounting. Currently serving as Senior Financial Controller at Prolific since November 2020, Claire has progressed through various roles within the company, including Financial Controller and Junior Financial Controller. Prior experience includes working as an Accounting Trainee at Chavereys from August 2017 to November 2020, and as an Actuarial Associate at PwC UK from September 2016 to July 2017. Claire began a career in customer service at the London Borough of Bromley and gained experience in a summer internship in the Valuations Department at Alvarez & Marsal in 2015. Claire holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics with Finance and Investment Banking from the University of Reading, completed in 2016.
