Beibei Zhao

Beibei Zhao possesses extensive experience in neuroscience and research program management. Zhao served as Director of Research Programs at ProMIS™ Neurosciences, Inc. from March 2018 to May 2022 and held the position of Project Manager at the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health at the University of British Columbia concurrently. Prior to that, Zhao was a Faculty Research Associate at the Brain Research Centre at the University of British Columbia from September 2014 to September 2018 and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre for Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases at the University of Toronto from June 2009 to September 2014. Zhao began the research career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Neuroscience and an M.Sc. in Biology, both from McGill University.
