Alejandro Llorens Carrodeguas has work experience as a DevOps Engineer at PromoFarma by DocMorris starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2019 to 2023 as an Assistant Researcher and Cloud Engineer. In this role, they performed DevOps and Linux system administration tasks, deployed and managed OpenStack-based cloud, and operated Kubernetes clusters. Before that, Alejandro worked at ETECSA_Cuba from 2015 to 2017 as a System and Network Expert at Level II and Level I respectively.
Alejandro Llorens Carrodeguas pursued their education in the field of network engineering. Alejandro obtained a B.Sc. (Hons) in Telecommunications and Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría", CUJAE, from 2010 to 2015. Alejandro later enrolled in the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they are currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Network Engineering, starting in 2017 and expected to complete in 2023.
During their academic journey, Alejandro Llorens Carrodeguas also broadened their knowledge by being a Visiting Ph.D. Researcher at the Networked Systems Research Laboratory (NetLab) at the School of Computing Science in the University of Glasgow from 2019 to 2020.
In addition to their degrees, Alejandro Llorens Carrodeguas has obtained certifications to enhance their language skills. In 2017, they achieved the (B2) First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge. The following year, in 2018, they obtained the (A2) Certificat de Nivell Bàsic de Català from the Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística.
