Charles Boyer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Charles began their career in 2003 as a Responsible Operations Manager at Première Urgence Internationale, where they oversaw a project providing aid to displaced persons. Charles then worked as a Project Manager for Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell from 2004 to 2006, focusing on export projects in the African region.
In 2007, Boyer transitioned to a role as an Engineer at DEGREMONT SA, specializing in process engineering. Charles then joined SUEZ France in 2008 and served as the Deputy Operational Director and later as an Agency Manager.
Boyer continued their professional growth by attending the École nationale d'administration (ENA) from 2014 to 2016. After completing their studies, they joined the Ministères de l'Économie, des Finances, de l'Action et des Comptes publics as the Deputy Chief of the European Financial and Policy Bureau from 2017 to 2019.
From 2020 to 2022, Boyer worked as a Budget Advisor and President of the Budget Committee for the Permanent Representation of France to the European Union. During their time there, they represented France in various European Union negotiations and contributed to the adoption of several legislative texts.
Most recently, Charles Boyer has been appointed as the Deputy CFO and subsequently as the CFO at Proparco, starting in 2023.
Charles Boyer completed their education at several institutions. In 1999, they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering from CentraleSupélec, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. During this period, from 2001 to 2002, Boyer also pursued a Master's degree in Economics at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Later on, in 2015 and 2016, they attended the Ecole nationale d'administration (ENA), although details about the degree or field of study are not available.
