Gonzague Monreal has extensive work experience in the financial sector. Gonzague started their career at AXA Investment Managers in 2005, where they worked in strategic planning for a year. In 2006, they joined Banco Gallego as the Head of Financial Planning, remaining in this role until 2011. Monreal then moved to PROPARCO in 2012, initially serving as a Senior Investment Officer for Financial Institutions until 2017. From 2018 to 2022, they held the position of Financial Institutions - Head of Latin America & Asia at PROPARCO. Currently, Monreal is the Head of Financial Institutions at PROPARCO.

Gonzague Monreal obtained a Master's degree in Finance from Sciences Po in the years 2001 to 2005. Gonzague also obtained a certification as a Financial Risk Manager from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in 2008.
