Laure Bourgeois has a diverse work experience across multiple organizations. Laure worked at Proparco from 2015 onwards, starting as an Investment Officer and progressing to Senior Investment Officer and eventually Principal Investment Officer. Laure also worked at EDFI Management Company as an Investment Committee Member for AgriFI. Prior to that, they worked at Proparco again as an Investment Officer for Southern Africa. Before their career in finance, they had internships at CDC CLIMAT as an Investment Officer, Xerox Corporation as a Key Account Sales Representative Intern, and the French-Austrian Chamber of Commerce as a Director's and Business-Club/Publication's Intern.
Laure Bourgeois completed their Master's degree in "Banking & risk management" at ESSCA Business School from 2005 to 2010. During their education, they specialized in banking, financial engineering, financial analysis, treasury, risk, and asset management. Additionally, in 2009, they attended MBA courses in financial markets and risk management at Hong Kong Baptist University. Laure also holds certifications in Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing, as well as Bilan Carbone Accreditation for greenhouse gas emissions assessment.
