Chad Rountree

Chad Rountree is an accomplished educational leader currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chief Program Officer at Propel America since January 2021. Prior to this role, Rountree held various leadership positions at OneGoal from May 2016 to January 2021, including Managing Director of Program Innovation and Training & Support, as well as Interim Chief Program Officer. Rountree was actively involved with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as an Advisory Council Member from October 2023 to December 2024. Previous experience includes roles such as Director of Novice Teacher Development at Denver Public Schools and Director of Drop Out Services & Support at Duval County Public Schools. Rountree's career began in the classroom as a teacher and progressed through leadership positions, including Assistant Principal at KIPP Jacksonville Schools. An education background includes degrees from Harvard University, Michigan State University, New Mexico State University, and the Arizona Culinary Institute.
