Jeff Nixon has extensive work experience in various leadership positions. Jeff began their career in corporate sales and district sales management at W.W. Grainger in 1987. Jeff later served as the General Manager at SPX Corporation, leading sales efforts in North America and running the Canadian division. At W.W. Grainger, they held the role of Vice President and General Manager, responsible for the turnaround and ongoing operations of the division. Jeff then became the CEO of Gustafson Lighting, where they were responsible for all aspects of the business and served on the Board of Directors. Jeff also served as President and COO at Vision Point of Sale, Inc., leading day-to-day operations and developing new markets and products/services. At W.W. Grainger, they held the position of Vice President, General Manager U.S. Services, leading the development of a start-up for-fee services division. Jeff served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at Highland Solutions, where they led day-to-day operational activities and provided leadership on strategy development and deployment. Currently, they are working as the Chief Operating Officer at Proponent, supporting global day-to-day activities and providing leadership on key strategies and initiatives.

Jeff Nixon attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2002 to 2003, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business.
