Nadia Sussman is an accomplished video journalist with extensive experience in journalism and multimedia production. Currently working at ProPublica since November 2017, Nadia previously held positions as a freelance video journalist and intern at The New York Times from September 2010 to November 2017. Nadia's career includes work as a researcher and translator for a PBS documentary on immigration at Hiptruth Productions, a multimedia journalist for the Future of Petén project, and an investigative caseworker at the California Appellate Project. Nadia’s educational background encompasses a Master’s degree in Journalism from The City University of New York and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Yale University.
