Lorenza Mittempergher

Lorenza Mittempergher PhD currently serves as R&D Team Manager at ProQR Therapeutics, overseeing a team of 12-15 scientists focused on oligonucleotide design and in-silico analysis. Prior to this role, Lorenza held multiple positions at Agendia, Inc., including Senior Director Research, where responsibilities encompassed the leadership and management of R&D projects, team oversight, and cross-departmental communication. Lorenza has also been a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Netherlands Cancer Institute, focusing on kinome analyses and drug response predictions in various cancers, and gained early research experience at UCSF and the University of Padova. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and an MSc in Molecular Biology, both obtained from the University of Padova.
