Robert Gaut

Robert Gaut is a partner in the tax group at Proskauer Rose LLP, based in the London office since January 2014, specializing in corporate tax issues for UK and international clients. Prior to this role, Robert served as a partner and head of the tax group at Fried Frank from May 2005 to January 2014, and as a tax partner at Jones Day from 1999 to 2005. Early in Robert's career, experience included positions as an associate at Jones Day and Simmons & Simmons from 1992 to 1998. Academic qualifications include an LLB (Hons) in European Law from the University of Bristol (1987-1991), Law Society Final Examinations from the College of Law (1991-1992), and completion of the NED Accelerator Programme from NEDonBoard in early 2023.
