Robert Melman

Robert Melman is a Principal and has been in the finance industry since 1997. He is responsible for originating, executing, and managing investments in a variety of industries, including business services, healthcare, and consumer products. Prior to joining Prospect, from 2008 to 2011, Robert worked as a deal professional at Patriarch Partners, an asset management firm focused on distressed companies. From 2003 to 2008, he worked as a deal professional at ComVest Group, a private equity firm focused on distressed middle-market companies. Robert began his career at Ernst and Young LLP where he helped sponsors and corporate buyers evaluate Mergers and Acquisitions prospects.

Robert received his BBA from the University of Michigan and his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is also a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
