Joya Matthews, M.P.A. is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as the Marketing Director at Prosperity Now, Joya has also contributed to ESPN as a contributor for The Undefeated since October 2017. Previous roles include Social Impact Consultant and Senior Copywriter at Delivery Associates, as well as Deputy Director at the DC Government and Associate Director at the Mayor's Office of Women's Policy and Initiatives in the Government of the District of Columbia. Joya's background also encompasses positions as a Research Associate at Brilliant Corners Research and Strategies and Communications Associate at the Institute for Policy Studies.
