Sharbel Issa

Sharbel Issa has extensive experience in physical design engineering, currently serving as the Physical Design Team Leader and Senior Physical Design Engineer at proteanTecs since June 2019. Responsibilities include preparing and executing synthesis and place-and-route flows using Synopsys and Cadence tools for advanced nodes, as well as integrating ProteanTecs solutions into various open-source APR processes. Prior to this role, Sharbel Issa worked at Intel Corporation from May 2014 to February 2019 as a Physical Design Engineer, handling the full RTL-to-GDS flow, which encompassed floor-planning, clock tree synthesis, power distribution, place and route, and static timing analysis. Sharbel Issa holds an MBA in Financial Management and Capital Market from Tel Aviv University and a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
