Protect Ethical Prosecutors aims to raise awareness about a nationwide epidemic of prosecutorial misconduct. As a non-profit organization, PEP develops and supports legislation and policies that will hold prosecutors more accountable for their misconduct, including abolishing prosecutorial immunity and creating a mechanism to track or report prosecutors who violate the U.S. Constitution. 

Prosecutors have significant and unchecked power and are rarely held accountable for the damage they cause. They can willfully or wrongfully charge and convict innocent people, forcing them to spend decades in prison, bankrupting their emotional and financial resources, and damaging their reputations and family lives.

It's time to protect ethics, promote accountability and put an end to the epidemic of prosecutorial misconduct.
