Michael Taylor

Michael Taylor is an experienced professional in demand planning and control, currently serving as a Demand Planning and Control Manager at Proterra Inc since December 2021. Previously, Taylor held the position of Metal Fabrication Production Leader at Trane from January 2020 to December 2021 and worked as an Associate Commodity Manager at Ingersoll Rand from July 2017 to December 2019, where significant reductions in material shortage risks were achieved. Taylor's extensive experience includes leadership roles in production, scheduling, material planning, and operations excellence, applying LEAN principles to enhance efficiency and reduce defects. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Engineering Sciences with a concentration in Supply Chain Management and Packaging from Michigan State University, completing studies in May 2017.
