Colin Constant

Colin Constant is an experienced optical engineer currently working at Protingent as part of the display team for Microsoft Hololens, focusing on test and analysis while managing production data to identify failure modes. Prior to this role, Colin served as an Optical Design Engineer at LI-COR Biosciences, where responsibilities included designing new products for bio-imaging and environmental analysis and developing assembly and alignment procedures. Colin's earlier experience includes working as a Detection Systems Engineer III at LGC, Biosearch Technologies, where design efforts centered on fluorescent detection systems for PCR automation and the development of an optical reader for a high throughput multiplex PCR system. Colin holds a Master of Science in Optics and Photonics from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.
