Carol Lawrence

Carol Lawrence, MBA, currently serves as the Head Men's and Women's Cross Country, Track & Field Coach at Johnson C. Smith University since June 2022. Simultaneously, Carol has been a Computer Science Instructor at Providence Day School since August 2007, where responsibilities include program management, instruction in various technology-related subjects, and performance assessment. Additionally, Carol has directed the Girls Track and Field program, mentoring athletes to achieve high-performance standards and facilitating recruitment to prestigious NCAA programs, while leading the team to seven consecutive state titles. Prior professional experience includes a role as a Technology Officer at JP Morgan Chase, focusing on integrating new technologies, and as IT Change Manager at Domino Sugar Corporation, where Carol was instrumental in establishing the company's first network infrastructure. Carol holds an MBA in eBusiness from the University of Phoenix and a BS in Information Systems from the New York Institute of Technology.
