David Harris

David Harris is an experienced educator with a strong background in middle school history and humanities. Currently serving as a Middle School History Teacher and Middle School Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Co-Coordinator at Providence Day School since August 2019, David previously held the position of Middle School Humanities Teacher at Catherine Cook from September 2008 to June 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Auxiliary Services at Francis W. Parker School in Chicago and Middle School Teacher at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. David's educational background includes a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Syracuse University, a Teacher Certification in Elementary Education from DePaul University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
