Tom Dalby

Tom Dalby is an experienced professional in credit systems, portfolio analysis, and risk management, currently serving as the Head of Credit Systems and Portfolio Analysis at Provident Financial Group since May 2019. Previously, Tom held several senior leadership positions at GE Capital from November 1999 to December 2018, including overseeing portfolio analytics and reporting for both consumer and commercial finance markets across Europe and Asia. Tom also led the development of fraud and credit risk tools and initially started as a Senior Analyst in the Consumer Finance business. Prior to GE Capital, Tom worked as a Research Analyst at the Met Office, contributing to a new weather forecasting system. Tom earned a PhD in Statistics and a degree in Engineering Physics from Sheffield Hallam University.
