Prior to that, they worked at Bank Of America Continuum India for over a decade, where they held the position of Assistant Vice President from October 2010 to July 2021. Anand also worked as a Project Manager at Capgemini FS SBU from 2003 to 2010 and started their career as an ASE at Tata Consultancy Services from March 2001 to October 2003.
Anand Surana has a diverse education history. In 1992, they attended DAV Public School Dayanand Vihar but did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study. From 1994 to 1998, they studied at Karnatak University and earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Later, in 2012, they enrolled in Sikkim Manipal University and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Information Systems Management in 2013.
In addition to their formal education, Anand has obtained multiple certifications. In 2000, they became a Sun Certified Java Programmer for Java 2.0. In 2010, they obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Anand further extended their skills by acquiring an ITIL V3 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2013. In 2016, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance. Most recently, in 2017, they completed an Advanced Business Analytics using R course provided by IIT Hyderabad.
