Janae Cram

Janae Cram has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Janae started their career as a Courier at the Law Office of Vincent L. Penta, P.S. in 2002 and later worked as a Book Seller at Waldenbooks from 2004 to 2010.

In 2008, Janae joined Mindfly Studio as a Lead Integration Developer, specializing in creating responsive websites using Umbraco. Janae has expertise in manipulating HTML/CSS and building core MVC and strongly-typed C# focused websites. Janae worked at Mindfly Studio until 2015.

From 2015 to 2020, Janae worked as a Senior Developer at Offroadcode Limited, focusing on integrating Umbraco with front-end work and third-party applications. Janae gained experience in integrating complex solutions for travel websites, including booking holiday packages and integrating with CRMs and marketing software.

During this time, Janae also founded Skrift, where they served as a Senior Engineer and Founder. Janae became known as the Umbraco code guru and all-around engineer. Janae was responsible for all aspects of development except for a bit of JavaScript.

In 2020, Janae started working as a Freelance Umbraco Developer, collaborating directly with clients and agencies to integrate Umbraco with their businesses. Janae has experience working remotely with teams and has a focus on creating user-friendly websites for both front-end users and backoffice editors.

Currently, Janae is employed as an Umbraco Developer at ProWorks Corporation, an Umbraco Gold Partner, starting in 2022.

Janae Cram completed their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies from Lower Columbia College, which they attended from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, in March 2014, they obtained a certification in Umbraco Level 2 from Umbraco institution.
