Ravi Shankar

Ravi Shankar Rao is a seasoned technology executive with significant experience in the semiconductor and design automation industries. Currently serving as CEO of Proxelera since June 2021, Ravi previously held the position of CEO at Whizchip Design Technologies Pvt Ltd. Between 2007 and 2009, Ravi was Managing Director of India Operations at Axiom Design Automation during the acquisition of SysChip Design Technologies, where Ravi was co-founder and Director of Technology from 2005 to 2007. Earlier in the career, Ravi worked as a Verification Consultant at Synopsys from 1998 to 2000. Ravi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Bangalore University, earned between 1990 and 1994.
