Catherine Bals

Catherine Bals currently serves as the Group Sustainability Lead at Proximus Group, where roles also include Sustainability Department Lead and Proximus Foundation Chair, beginning in June 2017. Bals has a robust background in marketing and communications, having worked at BICS from 2003 to 2017, where positions included Director of Marketing and Communications, Marketing Communications Director, Marketing Manager, and Mobile Business Manager. In these roles, Bals was responsible for departmental leadership in market intelligence, segmentation, branding, and corporate communications, significantly contributing to BICS’s corporate positioning and financial success. Catherine Bals earned a Master in B2B Marketing from Vlerick Business School between 2006 and 2007 and completed education at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool from 1998 to 2001.
