Zulay Barrero

Zulay Barrero has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Zulay co-founded Proxy42 in 2011, where they currently serve as the Chief Experience Officer. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Visual Experience Specialist at Multimedia Project Srl. Prior to that, they worked as a Web Designer at Studio Pegaso Multimedia from 2007 to 2016, and as an Art Director at UnaDONNA.IT from 2013 to 2014. Zulay also worked as a Web Designer at OpenContent from 2008 to 2012, as a User Interface Designer at Kumbe from 2009 to 2012, and at Net Wise S.r.l. as a Web Designer in 2007. Before entering the design field, they had experience as an Industrial Designer at Archiglaze from 2000 to 2001. Zulay also has experience in e-learning, having served as a Design Manager at Unisanitas in 2005 and in user experience roles at Latined Colombia from 2004 to 2005.

Zulay Barrero graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 1996 with a degree in Industrial Design from the School of Architecture and Industrial Design. Zulay attended this university from 1991 to 1996.

In 2006, Zulay Barrero pursued a Master's degree in Educazione Audiovisiva e Multimediale at Università degli Studi di Padova. Zulay specialized in E-Learning and Audiovisual Communication during their time at this institution, which lasted from 2005 to 2006.
