Syed Abdul Moiz has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Syed Abdul currently holds the position of Director of Risk Management and Sustainability at Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad since 2018. Previously, they worked at Munich Re (Group) as the Head of Actuarial Services - Family Retakaful from 2015 to 2018. In this role, they were responsible for managing and supervising all actuarial work, including pricing, experience studies, treaties, product development, and client management. Syed Abdul also played a vital role in business development, acquisition activities, and strategic planning. Before joining Munich Re, Syed Abdul Moiz served as Assistant General Manager and Head of Actuarial & Strategic Planning Department at EFU Life Assurance Ltd. from 2007 to 2015. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Senior Actuarial Assistant at Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates and as an Assistant Manager at State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, both in 2005.

Syed Abdul Moiz holds a degree in Enterprise Risk Management from the Society of Actuaries in the USA, where they obtained the FSA and CERA qualifications.
