Farzia Karim, PhD, currently serves as an Electro-Optical Engineer III at Psionic since July 2025, following a role as Senior Optics/Photonics Engineer at Nikon from October 2022 to 2025, where responsibilities included supporting production and developing next-generation laser radar products utilizing FMCW LiDAR technology. Prior experiences include a postdoctoral research associate at Michigan State University focused on fiber optics sensing and a graduate research and teaching assistantship at the University of Dayton, where involvement in electro-optics and photonics was prominent.
