Behnam Tayebi

Behnam Tayebi is a seasoned professional in optical engineering and quantum optics, currently serving as a Quantum Optics R&D Engineer at PsiQuantum since November 2024. Prior to this role, Behnam held positions such as Optical Engineering Lead at Bruker, where key innovations included the invention of a 2.1g 3D two-photon microscope, and at Inscopix, Inc., where Behnam designed calibration setups and created LScape: a 2.4g wide field microscope. Academic experience encompasses research positions at New York University, Vanderbilt University, and Korea University, contributing to advancements in retinal imaging, acousto-optics, and brain imaging technology. Holding a PhD in Physics from Yonsei University, Behnam has authored several significant developments in microscopy and imaging techniques throughout a diverse career spanning over a decade.
